*Quint fidgets* Sorry... I... Where I'm from, being shut down for long periods of time is kind of a 'normal' thing that happens to almost everyone. And trying to sort out the confusion about how long just makes it worse. I didn't think about what I was saying. Sorry...

*Quick smiles a little.* It's fine, Quint. Easy to forget that our universes differ a bit sometimes. Especially in that.

*Metal nods at that.* I guess if that's how things are where you're from, you'd be used to the idea of being shut down for extended periods. Only I wasn't shut down for all the time, and we usually are shut down only for repairs...

I'm not from the same universe either, so... I wouldn't know how much time.

*Metal smiles a little.* Kind of had a feeling that was the case. You look too different from anything I remember from home...

*Quint smiles, feeling a little better since Metal seems less scared than he was* Steadfast is from another planet, kind of like the Stardroids. Oh, that's right, you probably don't have them either.

She's from the same planet as Waspinator and Terrorsaur, but I think different universes or timelines or something.

It's a planet with just robots and no humans at all. *still finds the idea fascinating*

*Metal looks a bit confused at the mention of Stardroids but shrugs it off, more interested in the rest.* A planet with robots but no humans? How is that even possible?

Because us not invite humans to stay with us? And no humans there to begin with.

*Metal gets a bit scared again, thinking he might have made someone annoyed at him.* I didn't know that it was possible... Sorry if I offended you.

*this confuses Waspy* Did Waspinator say something wrong? Waspinator is sorry. Waspinator did not mean to frighten little xeno.

Waspinator would not have thought little xenos possible either.

*Quick sighs.* Waspinator, it's fine. Metal just needs a little time to get over his nervousness, I think. Most of the people he's probably been around for a while would be Wind's group. They aren't exactly known for having pleasant tempers... Nor are they particularly nice people.

*Metal looks down at the floor nervously on realizing his mistake. Quick was right about how the Epsilons were. He stays quiet though.*

Oh. Waspinator is sorry again. Wind is very sick bot. Friends with someone like that could not be much different, or would not be friend with. Waspinator would never do anything like that.

Is ok. Waking up in strange place, everything else changed too? Waspinator understands. Little xeno will need time.

*he tries to smile at Metal, though given the design of his face, such expressions ae often hard to read* Waspinator will not do anything to hurt little xenos. Waspinator likes company. Was very alone here before Nexus.

*Metal looks up, watching Waspinator nervously. He speaks softly when he finally does respond.* Wind tends to warp those who are around him for long periods of time. One or two of the Epsilons were decent enough when they were activated, but now they've changed...

*He nods a little.* Thank you.

*sigh* Is sad. Is always someone making trouble. Makes Waspinator glad Beast Wars over sometimes, even if Predacons lost. Dragon-bot was crazy anyway.

*He smiles at Metal* Waspinator would ask your name, but has been said several times. And Waspinator would just forget. Waspinator has glitches and cannot remember names. Is why Waspinator talks this way, so Waspinator will not forget Waspinator's name too.

Is nothing to be scared of here. Cave is on prehistoric Earth. Waspinator has been stuck here for years. Is very boring. Waspinator is hardly ever in CR now, unless Waspinator has accident.

*Metal frowns.* It might just be the way all universes are. Someone always has to make trouble for others...

*He nods, smiling a little.* Kind of like Air. Except he forgets more than names... And if you repeat something enough for him, it eventually will stick.

*Metal sounds uneasy.* Prehistoric Earth? How the hell did we end up here?

*Waspy smiles* With Waspinator is just names. and only names of people.

Places and things Waspinator can remember, but names for people stored in different section of datatrax, and section is corrupted so names are not copied from short term data storage to long term memory.

Other Predacon subversives said Maximal Council might have tried to find out names from Waspinator and that is why that section has worst damage, because Waspinator did not want them to know.

Waspinator has big gaps in memories too, but sometimes that gets better.

*He's quiet for a moment at the question* Waspinator got here when Predacon ship crashed after Rex-bot brought Predacons here because Rex-bot thought would be good idea to change the past to make sure Decepticons would win Great War and that way Maximal Council would never exist.

Is stupid idea, and did not work. Is more stupid after seeing Nexus, because shows would just cause different timeline, not help Predacons at all. Maybe us never exist either.

Little xenos and Steadfast came here from Nexus. Nexus is strange place. Waspinator think rift to it here was caused by use of transwarp drive that was on Darkside cruiser. Transwarp is tricky sometimes. Waspinator was navigator on ship, and Dactyl-bot was pilot, before ship crashed.

Nexus connects all different universes and timelines. Is very strange, but Waspinator is used to things Waspinator does not understand.

*Metal nods.* Dunno how exactly memory systems work among my kind. Unless things have changed, about the only one who really knows is Wily. Wind was toying with things, trying to figure that stuff out for some reason...

*He looks a bit confused but decides to ignore all the unfamiliar terms for now.* This is going to take a lot of getting used to I think... Never knew that something like the Nexus existed.

*Ballade's dozed off, curled up near the wall, and still in his armor*

I don't think most people know it exists till they wind up in it. It's strange that way. I don't know about Ice, but I was there by accident, and then Punk and Ballade came looking for me, and now a lot of people from my universe know about it.

*Quint notices Ballade's asleep, and nabs a few towels to tuck him in with.*

*Air nods.* Definitely was a surprise when we found it for the first time. Of course, I ended up getting lost in the Nexus early on...

*He sounds a bit unnerved, but decides to comment on hearing the bit about what Wind is working on.* So he's working on that again? I knew he was working for it at one point before, but since it doesn't seem he tried any of it on you, he must not have managed to find a way to alter memory...

*Quint fidgets and shivers* Our Wily knows how to do that. Or wipe things.

*He doesn't want to think about it, but glances towards Ballade. He's been very suspicious of late, wondering how much of Ballade's 'damage' was because of the explosion and how much might have been intentional.*

*Metal smiles slightly.* Have to admit, I really would have thought the Nexus was a weird joke of Wind's, if it weren't for who I'm hearing it exists from...

*He frowns again.* Wind was trying to figure out a way to alter memories without it being detectable. Apparently Wily never gave him that kind of knowledge... I could tell when he tried it though. The memories felt wrong.

*Air sounds thoughtful.* Wily left that information out of the stuff repairers know for a reason. Wonder if Wily knows what Wind's been up to?

*Quint shivers and sits down next to Ballade* Something always feels wrong. Like it's a bad dream.

I-I don't know, Air. I don't.. our Wily wouldn't even let us learn as much about repairs as you know. We weren't allowed to fix each other or ourselves. He didn't want us to be able to without him.

Yours is different about that, but I don't know what he wouldn't want Wind to know. And if they're anything alike he'd be very mad if someone did something they shouldn't.
