*Quint nods after a moment* It's odd the things that are different sometimes. Like how our Epsilons weren't made by Wily at all, and most of them are ok. Or the Gallery. Or how you're all taller than we are. Or that your world doesn't have the RKNs at all.

*Air sounds slightly amused.* Hate to say it Metal, but our Wily was worse to us if we didn't get him that garbage than if we did. Remember the one time we messed up trying to steal the stuff?

*Metal looks confused for a minute before it dawns on him.* Good point. That incident was awful. Just glad he didn't decide to recycle any of us for that mess.

*He pauses, shaking his head.* All the differences are a bit confusing. And, just out of curiosity, if your Wily didn't make the Epsilons, who did?

Our Epsilon Squadron came from all over the world. Wily was too busy that year to do designs from scratch, because he was working on Forte. The plan had two purposes though. It meant he'd have a new team, without having to do the work. And it also.. *Quint paused and shivered* Our Wily doesn't like competition. At all. Especially if anyone's good enough they might be a threat, like Dr. Light or Dr. Cossack.

That year, he.. well, we did most of the work to set it up, but, it was a contest. A big Robot Master design competition.

The eight winners and their creators were brought together at an Expo. Then the robots were taken and the building was bombed. Wily even kept a list of other entrants, but I think he lost it or forgot to send us to kill them too, like he was going to. Unless that happened while I was in the Gallery.

Our Windman was made by a 17 year old boy. Plant was made by two women from Brazil. Flameman's from the Middle East somewhere. Yamato was from a company in Japan. Blizzardman was owned by a TV station and used to do weather reports. I don't know about Tomahawk, and Centaur and Knightman were I think from the same place. Some sort of medival-fantasy oriented carnival. Centaur was designed to give kids pony rides...

*Quint shivers again, uneasy* Their creators were killed, and Wily changed their programming and modified them so they could fight, and then sent them out. *bitterly* Not that it made a damned bit of difference to Mega where they were from. As far as he was concerned, they're just more Wilybots. I guess they are, now.

*Air hadn't actually heard this before.* So, your Epsilons weren't even meant as fighters originally? I could definitely see Wily not wanting competition though.

*Metal nods, though he sounds a bit uneasy when he responds.* Poor guys. Fighting can be bad enough for some of us who were designed for it. *He looks at Air.* Isn't that right, Air?

*Metal frowns at Air.* Air, you know that's all we really are good for. Fighting. It's our purpose. We weren't like the Alphas of our universe... You'll have to get used to the fighting again some day.

*Quint hesitates, not comfortable disagreeing with Metal* Air's better at doing repairs than any of us. I wouldn't have known what to fix, even with the CR. And I've learned to do other things besides fight. I have a job in one of the other universes I go to that doesn't have anything to do with fighting.

We don't have to be what we were made to be.

*Waspy giggles* Of course do not have to always have same function. Waspinator does not even remember what Waspinator was created for. And Dactyl-bot was... well, maybe Waspinator should not say what Dactyl-bot was.

*Waspy just smiles, having come from a very military-oriented culture* Can still be warrior. Most Predacons are warriors. Just find new reason to fight, instead of taking orders from crazy fleshie.

*Air laughs a little.* It's better this way. You'll see. Quick and Crash have adjusted, and they were in the same situation as you, needing a new purpose.

*Waspinator nods* Waspinator was very bored for a while after Beast Wars over, but Waspinator had to find place to stay, and try to salvage CR and computer and then Waspinator started growing roses and making cave look nice and then found out about Nexus. Is always something to do.

*He smiles* What weapons does little xeno use? Waspinator has cybervenom dart gun. Is also cabinet of salvaged weapons from Beast Wars, but some not work now. Waspinator thinks Ant-bot's flamethrower still does, but not have reason to find out yet.

*he giggles* Maybe have barbeque in summer.

*There's a muffled thud outside, almost a crash, and a moment later Terrorsaur stumbles into the cave.*

I really hate this stupid upgrade. Ever try to storm-fly with numb wings? It's ridiculous!

*On hearing the noise outside, Metal starts getting a bit nervous. He wasn't expecting some else to show up and it startled him.*

*When Terry comes in, he nods and tries to help calm metal* Is ok. Is Dactyl-bot. Dactyl-bot was outside flying in storm while you were in CR.

*Waspinator looks puzzled at Metal* Of course Waspinator would want to see. Not see that kind of weapon often.

*He frowns slightly, even more puzzled by the rest* Sounded like were crowded around little xeno, though. Thrown weapons better for mid-ranged targets, much harder in melee range. Is not little xeno's fault.
