*It's autumn here now, and the large rose garden is still stubbornly in bloom even though the leaves have changed color. The weather is clear and the sky blue with only a few wispy white clouds. Sometimes prehistoric Earth can be simply beautiful. But who has time to stop and look some days?*

*Quick looks a little puzzled at the lack of reaction from Air.*

Wasn't he supposed to reactivate?

*looks worried* Yeah... *goes over to the CR* Air..?

*Air shivers a little bit and doesn't quite manage to hide it. He heard the two very familiar voices, but he's scared that this is just a trick to get him off guard. The memories of what happened are coming back clearly, and he knows he should be in a lot more pain than this.*

*the lack of response worries him* Air? Are you ok? It's Quint. *he hops up the makeshift stairs near the CR*

*he looks over at Waspinator, confused and starting to be scared* Why isn't he moving..?

*had just come back in with the cleaned goose to see this* Waspinator does not know.

Air? Can you hear us? *sits on the edge of the CR and reaches to hold Air's hand, scared and wondering what went wrong*

*Quick watches uneasily, as he approaches the CR.*

*softly* Air? What's wrong?

*Air just starts shaking a bit when he feels someone grabbing his hand. He's scared now, so he doesn't realize how obvious an indicator that he's active the shaking is. Air really fights the urge to jerk his hand away as he wonders why Wind is doing this to him. It has to be a trick of some type.*

*hangs back a little, figuring that a 30 ft. Decepticon could scare Air more than he needs in his current state*

*quietly* How is he? Did it go wrong?`

Waspinator does not know. Waspinator does not understand. *the goose is forgotten on a makeshift table* Is little Blue-bot sick, like other little bot was?

No.. No, Ballade was sick because his systems were still trying to shut down on him for a while. That shouldn't be happening to Air.

*Quick is starting to get a little worried that he did mess something up. Then he notices the shaking and realizes that this isn't the first time he's seen Air like this.*

*Looking a bit annoyed at himself for forgetting how Air can be, he mumbles softly.* He did this after we reactivated him from Wind getting a hold of him.

*gently* Come on, brother. You are safe; no one here is going to hurt you. He is far away fromm here.

*quietly* I don't think Wind would even know how to get here, or that this place exists.

*Air finally starts actually moving. He looks around nervously, trying to remember how he ended up here. Then it really starts coming back. The chip. The week with that thing keeping him trapped in his own mind, unable to do anything to stop it. Begging for it to leave the others alone and not hurt them. And the fight...*

*softly, voice sounding as dispirited as it did earlier* I'm sorry. I couldn't stop it...

*relieved that there's not some unknown thing wrong with Air, almost hugs him but remembers what Quick said about him not liking being restrained. Quietly* It's ok, oniisan. We know you didn't want to do that. It's not your fault.

*Quick winces a little at how Air sounds. He shakes his head a little before speaking.* Air, it's not your fault. Wind put that thing in you; he deserves the blame.

*Air avoids actually looking anyone in the eye when he speaks.* Better me hurt than anyone else. I deserve it. *His mind thinks back to some of the memories that the chip had dug out.* After what I remembered that I did...

*softly* I told the chip I'd go back to Wind willingly if it just left everyone else alone. Would have been better that way...

*Quick looks a bit angry, not at Air, but it definitely shows in his voice and expression. He wants to hurt Wind right now.*

*scolding, sounding a bit harsher than intended* Air, quit that. You know exactly what Wind would have done to you. Don't do this to yourself.

Air, you can't blame yourself for things other people force you to do. Some people just.. just use other people. And what they cause is their fault.

*Air reacts badly to the scolding. Worse than he would under normal circumstances at any rate.*

*looking rather scared* Sorry.

*Air's not even sure why he's apologizing, but part of him said he should.*

*restrains himself again from hugging Air, though he does cautiously place a hand on his arm* Air, there's nothing to be sorry about. You didn't do anything wrong.

*just shakes his head sadly* Air, I'm not angry with you. As Quint said, you have no need to apologize. Trust me. I'm not going to hurt you. None of us wanted to hurt you earlier, either.

*Quick hesitates before giving Air a quick hug. Even though Air isn't that fond of that kind of contact.* I'm just worried about you. That chip sounded nasty enough from the outside for the short time we dealt with it. You had to deal with it for a week.

*sneaking out of the Nexus to visit, peeks into the cave and gets a surprise when he sees Wilybots other than Quint there. He doesn't bother to look long enough to notice they'r enot the Quick and Air from the same universe as him, hiding in the shrubbery outside*

*he wonders if he should warp away, but.. wasn't Quint there? Maybe it's safe.*
