[Retcon: MAJOR CHANGES]

[This WOULD NOT OCCUR. If Forte did bother to return after getting rid of the sword, anyone in not close to a fere relation approacting, Waspinator would have immediately hidden being upset, and likely stored the sword as well. If pressed on the matter he would have said no more than that swords as a gift have meaning to Cybertron culture and such a gift from someone who did not understand would be an insult. Playing with explosives would not have happened, nor any of the events leading to Reploid!Waspy]

(this is for right after the previous post... after Harpuia and Steadfast have both left, restricted for now to just Waspy and Forte ;) )

*is sitting in the floor in the small cave that branches off to the left of the main room of his 'nest'. The room itself is lit by the glow of a contained plasma fire, behind a glasslike shield, at one end of the room, a naturally occuring shelf down one wall contains an assortment of tiny figurines. Waspinator is taking no notice of the entrance to the small cave, and from his posture and drooped wings seems to be crying silently. He's holding something, but what is not immediately visible on entering the room*

*still isn't exactly certain what made Waspinator upset, other than the fact that it had something to do with the sword* *wants to let Waspy know that he's gotten rid of the sword* *enters the cave and looks around, not seeing Waspinator right off, so begins exploring*

*finds Waspy in the cave to the left and walks in, frowning at the state the Wasp is in* *softly* I took the sword somewhere else. *hesitantly rests a hand on Waspinator's shoulder, uncertain what to do and uncomfortable with the situation, as he's never tried to offer comfort to someone before*

*the object Waspy is holding is another sword. Like the one Harpuia tried to give him, it was obviously designed to 'match' Waspinator... leaf-bladed with green, black, and gold hilt...*

*senses that this is very serious to Waspy, but doesn't know why* ...it was just a sword. What's the big deal? *points at the sword Waspy is holding* You have one sword already, don't you?

Sword-gift is part of that. *looks at the one he's holding* Dactyl-bot made this one for Waspinator, before Predacons left Cybertron.

Waspinator made one for Dactyl-bot too, though not always happen that way. Us both were planning same thing... Dactyl-bot kept his in subspace too... Is not used for fighting, is... symbolic...

Sword-gift means... is way of saying other is fere...

*quiet for a moment as this sinks in, then scowls, chalking one more annoyance with Harpuia on his list* *grimaces, not wanting to defend Harpuia at all... but it's upsetting Waspinator...* ...Harpuia probably did not know what it meant. I wouldn't read too much into it.

*sits down with a slight wince, still sore from his earlier fight with Harpuia* *looks at Waspy's sword, but doesn't touch it... just studies it*

Even if didn't know... is still... Waspinator does not want to be fere with Green-bot. Does not even know green-bot, and does not trust him. Fere is someone you would trust to stand behind you with loaded weapons, and not think they would shoot you in the back. Is someone who, if.. if they died.. would avenge them, even if person responsible would kill you too. Is... too serious to make fun of...

*sighs, then finally seems to notice Forte's condition* Friend-bot needs to be in CR...

(and Waspy couldn't avenge Terry... darn quantum surge...)

Huh? *distracted* *thinking about how... how he might fit that description... because he would not shoot Waspinator in the back, and here he is, trying to soothe the bug's nerves, and he was more than willing to stand up for Waspy earlier when Harpuia was here* *frowns, uncertain whether or not to be troubled by this*

*glances down at his body* Oh. *shrugs* I've been through worse.

*rolls his eyes, but decides to humor Waspinator* *WOULD like to be repaired... just doesn't want to seem weak and begging to use it* Fine. *goes over to the CR and climbs in*

*waits patiently for Forte to be repaired... wonders at some game they could play... maybe target practice, or could go explore Tarantulas's lair, or... Waaspinator found some explosives after the Beast Wars were over... could blow something up...*

*huge grin and dashes to pull down the weapons racks and remove the box of salvaged explosives... brings them back over to Forte* Waspinator does not know how these survived end of Beast Wars, but... *giggles* Even find some of Rat-bot's old sticky-bombs! *pulls out a rectangular device and shakes it slightly in enthusiasm*

*something inside the old bomb gives a faint 'click' as an already damaged relay gives way from the shaking*

Friend-bot have any idea what we should blow up?

*didn't notice the click of the bomb activating, distracted by Waspy's enthusiasm* *grins and gets up* I dunno... building are always fun to destroy. Any building around here we could take down? *goes to the entrance of the cave and pokes his head outside, looking around*

Is prehistoric Earth... are no buildings... some stupid little grass huts Fleshie-bots make, but... is best to stay away from those. Not fun to blow up anyway...

*Waspinator attempts to put the bomb back in the box with the others, but it is stuck to his hand. There is a beep, and a lil red light on it lights up. Waspinator's optics get even bigger than usual* Uh oh...

*Waspinator starts shaking his hand frantically... when that fails to dislodge the bomb he drops the box containing the other explosives and holds onto his wrist, trying desperately to shake it off, alternating with trying to pull it off... in his struggles he trips over the box of explosives and falls into the CR with a splash....*

(Forte might barely have time to turn around and see what the fuss is before the result...)

*hears Waspinator panicking and turns around... just in time to be knocked off his feet by the shockwave* WASPINATOR! *gets back up and dashes back into the cave, looking for his friend*

*the room is a mess... The Predacon computer makes a couple odd clicks and a beep, and manages to reboot.. despite a staticky picture and a cracked screen.*

*the CR itself is in pieces, as is Waspinator, mixed together with bits of rock from a couple loose stalactites that were affected by the blast and fell into the resulting mess*

*stares at the mess, and particularly the CR tank and Waspinator, in a vague kind of horror* Waspinator... *picks his way through the bits of rubble over to the CR, but doesn't make a move to take the bug bot out, as that would probably not help him at all* *curses softly under his breath, not knowing what to do*

O.o Waspinator's head is no longer attached to his body. *kneels down and pulls some rubble away, revealing Waspy's poor, detached head* *gently picks Waspy's head up, wincing a little* *softly* The CR tank is destroyed... Is there... any other way to fix you?

Feh. *rubs his fingers across the back of Waspinator's head, not really thinking about what he's doing* I wouldn't take you to my old man. Bastard's too looney to trust him with something like this. *opens Waspinator's file and scans through it, committing it to memory so he'll be able to transfer the data to Dr. Wily's computer* I'll take you to the younger version, the sane one.

Just... just hang on. *hint of desperation, hasn't really sunk into him that Waspy is essentially immortal* *warps away*

((I guess we wait now until Wily-mun comes online and we can ask him to set up a post for us. Either that or you can just make a new post and write a "summary of what happened." ^_^* Up to you.))
