[Retcon: changes]

[Ok, the stuff with Steadfast and Harpuia would remain pretty much the same, as Waspy would still not like the possible cheating... though he wouldn't be quite as upset about it as he would be if he was considering Forte as fere. Still, the sword would have remained an accidental insult. However, Forte can take it and leave I guess... or if he returns as in the next post Waspinator would immediately hide being upset and not discuss the matter]

*Waspinator is still asleep after the game of storm tag, unaware that Forte woke up and left earlier. He's still damaged from the game, his wings torn and singed, and his wasp-mode legs missing.*

*hurridly heads inside, heading into the cavern to the left of the main room (the one with the strange glow, see profile), doesn't want anyone to see him upset... leaves the box behind, and was careful not to touch the sword at all... does not want to be fere with Harpuia*

(open mouth, insert foot... giving someone a sword has a serious bit of cultural signifigance with TFs...)

*pauses and takes the sword into his hands, considering just how much it would hurt to smash it, and decides that it's not his anymore.*

I suppose it's up to Waspinator to do with it as he pleases, destroying it or not.

((if it's left there, he'll never pick it up or touch it, and it would upset him to see it... But if Harpuia won't take it, will have to think of somethin here.
Giving or exchanging of sword-gift is the formal part of acknowleging a fere relationship... a rather tight sort of adoptive sibling thing. Think X and Zero - they'd probably qualify as fere.
Waspy has only met Harpuia twice, and so the giving of such a thing looks like he's making fun of the seriousness of such a matter... a really hard thing on the Wasp, since he had a fere once before (now dead)... and has only recently been considering explaining the custom to Forte...
Wish Steadfast-mun was on... I don like that poor Harpuia doesn't even know what he did wrong, and her chara could explain...))
