*Flash just gets quiet on hearing Waspinator's confirmation. Flash is actually getting a bit scared at all of the news he's received today. It's difficult to process all of it at one time too.*
*Quick sighs, shaking his head.* He doesn't believe me about the Nexus, Ballade.
*Crash snickers a little.* Come on, Flash. Do you really think there would still be a place like this left in our world?
*Air responds to Quint, forgetting to hide the concern in his voice about what he's dealing with.* Good to know. *He continues trying to sort out the alterations and added parts, which seems to be rather extensive now.*
*Quint smiles hopefully at Air, confident that Air will do all he can to help Metal*
*Then he goes to stand beside Ballade, and glances at Flash*
*to Ballade* I think maybe he's had enough news for a little while.
*to Flash, trying to be calming* If you really want proof, I have a photo album. And I'm not really from the same universe as the rest of you, except Ballade.
*He remembers hearing once that the Flash in his universe liked photography, and perhaps the album would make him feel better*
*Flash looks a bit startled on hearing that these two aren't even from his universe. He'd been assuming that they were some of the new ones from the time since his deactivation. Now that he knows that, he's not even sure how to treat them.*
*Quick nods.* I was planning to show him the place. Once everything else has a chance to sink in, and Metal is taken care of at least. *Quick pauses, thinking, before placing a hand on Flash's shoulder.* It'll be fine, Flash. Trust me on that. We take care of our own.
*Crash just watches, trying to be ready in case his help is needed in dealing with Flash. Especially with how upset he's getting.*
*Air continues his work at figuring out what all needs removed, reconnected, and repaired in Metal's systems. It's not exactly an easy task.*
*Flash still looks a bit uneasy, but he decides to listen to those present. It's not like they have much reason to lie to him.* I know, Quick. You guys were the ones who went through the trouble of making sure I was deactivated before Lord Wily got to me...*He looks around again* Just got a lot to get used to, I guess.
*Quick laughs.* It's kind of like having family you never knew about, Flash. It's not that bad after a while.
*Air has finally found all of Wind's additions and marked them for removal. He starts going through to start repairing all the problems and damage, making sure to leave weapons and teleporter disconnected. He doesn't quite trust Metal to not do something stupid.*
*Quint nods - hindered briefly when Ballade decides to playfully steal his helmet. He ignores his younger brother for a moment and smiles at Flash reassuringly* It's strange at first, but it gets easier. And you're not alone.
Um.. 'scuse me. *He then chases Ballade to try to get his helmet back*
((Yeah, I play both of those two, so no stepping on toes there ;) ))
*Flash smiles a bit, amused at Ballade's behavior, but waits until Quint has gone out after Ballade to comment.* Just like how we always were when we were newly activated. That short period of time before reality set in... *He seems a little more at ease now.*
*Quick snickers a bit.* They're nice people. Helped us out a good bit already, actually. Just consider them a part of the family, Flash. It's an accurate description at least.
*Crash just laughs.* We've met some of the others from their universe too, actually. Interesting bunch, anyways.
*Air finally thinks he has everything figured out and starts double checking. It wasn't as bad as it looked at first, really. Once he finishes going through the list to make sure everything is just right, he confirms it so that the CR can begin its work.*
((Heh. I should have probably broken these guys up into separate accounts to make things easier, but I didn't think about it when I started. Seems a little late to do it now...))
*Flash laughs a bit on seeing Ballade and Quint come back in soaked. He's decided the best way to handle them is the way he usually dealt with new brothers that were just added to the family.* How long have you guys been activated anyways? You guys seem different from all the others I remember.
*Quick just smiles. Flash seems to have finally accepted at least some of what's going on, if Quick is reading him right. Which he thinks he is. He looks over at Air.* How's it going with Metal? Any problems?
*Crash snickers a bit, amused at the behavior. He's just glad that Flash didn't give as much trouble as Metal is likely to.*
*Air sighs, not really answering Quick's question. He's worried though. Very worried.*
((True enough. I think, at the very least, I'm going to have to get to work on splitting Metal and Flash off for the sake of what little sanity I have left. ;) Seems like it would make things less awkward. Time to start thinking up username ideas, I guess. :) ))
*Quint smiles* Well, we're sort of a diffrent series. RKN. Which wasn't made in your universe for some reason. I'm the second oldest of the series and Ballade's the fourth, and there were only four of us.
I was first activated in 2077, and Ballade in 2079. And it's 2090 at home now.
((It's really easier. Especially for multiple charas who are going to interact, because you don't have to log in to use the default image.))
Aren't the dates different between universes sometimes?
Besides, that's counting Gallery time. I never count Gallery time, because I don't remember it.
So I was 15 months old when I was sent there, and then here in the Nexus is five months now, and so I'm 20 months old, really, if you only count how long I've been activated.
And Quint's always been wierd. *he playfully pokes Quint.*
And I just blew up once. Quint doesn't have an excuse. *pokes sibling again*
Well, except for the whole Lightbot coding thing. *poke poke poke*
Things are kinda different in our universe. In fact, that's kinda true all around. Quit it, Ballade There's always something. Like there's one universe where Blues has always been a Wilybot.
Ballade! *Quint sighs* What happened to your book? *he looks around for it, hoping to distract Ballade*
*Ballade just grins and laughs* Hey! It works on you too!
That's kinda what I did to Wind. The no-violence field doesn't do anything about poking. And then I got the spraypaint and he tried to get away but I started painting him blue and Punk laughed and he flipped out and then I sprayed him in the face and tried to blow him up. But he got away.
*Flash just stares on hearing the years. Here he was thinking he'd only been deactivated a year or so. Now he's starting to think it's been longer.* Have I really been deactivated that long? And what do you mean by Gallery anyways?
*Quick shakes his head.* You haven't been deactivated that long, but it's been a while. The time's different. *He's not really sure it's such a good idea to give exacts. Flash wouldn't be used to being deactivated for really long periods of time and might get upset.* The Gallery is just another way that the universe's differ.
*Crash nods, frowning.* Their version of Wily isn't as bad as ours about recycling. *He smiles a bit at Ballade.* Wind does have a temper.
*Air just sighs, watching the progress on Metal. It seems like it's taking forever, though it hasn't really been long at all.*
((After this post, I'm gonna start working on setting up the accounts for separating them. Gonna still keep this account, but I'll start posting new stuff from the other accounts. ;) Might not start using them immediately, but definitely within the next day or so.))
*Quint shakes his head* Different universes can have different times. I think ours runs a bit later than some of the others. *He frowns slightly, thinking* As a comparison, Alpha Squadron was created in 2070 where we're from.
As for the Gallery... If our Wily doesn't have a use for anyone, they're shut down and put into storage. Sometimes for years. I'm the only one I know for sure that he.. did something else to.
There are around 70 of us now, where I'm from. And all but a few of them in the Gallery.
*Ballade grins at Crash* That's why it's fun! The no-violence field in the Nexus only works on violence. And it's not violent to poke someone or spraypaint them different colors. Or throw tribbles at them, but I didn't have any.
*Flash looks annoyed.* Quick, would you please stop avoiding my question? How long has it been?
*He looks a bit surprised on hearing about the gallery.* So it's common to have extended periods of deactivation in your universe. I think I'm starting to see the reason for the difference now.

Maybe you could just show him later? I dunno.
