*Waspinator nods and reaches to pick Metal up. He blinks as he looks at the xeno* Little xeno has sharp pointy bits. *Waspinator is extra careful as he lifts Metal gently to carry him over to the CR and place him on the grating*

*Quint's still keeping Ballade distracted, looking for turtles out in Waspinator's rose garden*

*Flash is definitely feeling a bit overwhelmed here. And more than a bit upset about Metal, though he's trying to hide it.* How the hell could somebody not know who we are? We were all over the damn news as Lord Wily's killing machines. That's all they ever called us...

*Quick sighs.* I'm not sure of how to put this, but we found a place called the Nexus. It connects our universe with others. Including some where we don't exist. I've even met alternate versions of some of us.

*At this point, Crash decides to be quiet and doesn't point out that Flash did what he told him to stop again. Quick is going to be better at explaining this mess.*

*Air sighs.* Sorry about that. I'm kind of used to it by now, and don't really think that much about the sharp parts. *He goes back over to the chair, ready to see the mess of things needing fixed.*

*Ballade just laughs and grins* Toldja it was going to rain!

*Flash just stares at Quick.* You're just trying to mess with my head, aren't you? That can't be real...

*Quick is getting a bit angry.* It's real. Every single one of us here can vouch for that being true. Besides, why would I lie about something like that.

*Air looks over at Quint, chuckling softly* Nobody is right all the time Quint. *He starts looking at the scan of Metal, starting to get worried.* Well, guys, the good news is that Wind didn't pull anything out when he put his little toy into place. *He goes silent at that, starting to sort through the mess of alterations put into place by Wind. This isn't going to be easy, and there will be after effects, seeing as the personality matrix and memory systems are both connected to Wind's chip. It's just a nicer, more carefully done version of what was in Air.*

*Quint smiles at air* It's just water anyway. This place doesn't even have the pollution that would cause acid rain yet.

*Flash just gets quiet on hearing Waspinator's confirmation. Flash is actually getting a bit scared at all of the news he's received today. It's difficult to process all of it at one time too.*

*Quick sighs, shaking his head.* He doesn't believe me about the Nexus, Ballade.

*Crash snickers a little.* Come on, Flash. Do you really think there would still be a place like this left in our world?

*Air responds to Quint, forgetting to hide the concern in his voice about what he's dealing with.* Good to know. *He continues trying to sort out the alterations and added parts, which seems to be rather extensive now.*

*Ballade grins* Oh, well, that's when you tell yourself 'It's just a Nexus Thing' and ignore it.

No, wait, that's when you see something in the Nexus that you don't believe.

*Quint smiles hopefully at Air, confident that Air will do all he can to help Metal*

*Then he goes to stand beside Ballade, and glances at Flash*

*to Ballade* I think maybe he's had enough news for a little while.

*to Flash, trying to be calming* If you really want proof, I have a photo album. And I'm not really from the same universe as the rest of you, except Ballade.

*He remembers hearing once that the Flash in his universe liked photography, and perhaps the album would make him feel better*

*Flash looks a bit startled on hearing that these two aren't even from his universe. He'd been assuming that they were some of the new ones from the time since his deactivation. Now that he knows that, he's not even sure how to treat them.*

*Quick nods.* I was planning to show him the place. Once everything else has a chance to sink in, and Metal is taken care of at least. *Quick pauses, thinking, before placing a hand on Flash's shoulder.* It'll be fine, Flash. Trust me on that. We take care of our own.

*Crash just watches, trying to be ready in case his help is needed in dealing with Flash. Especially with how upset he's getting.*

*Air continues his work at figuring out what all needs removed, reconnected, and repaired in Metal's systems. It's not exactly an easy task.*

*Flash still looks a bit uneasy, but he decides to listen to those present. It's not like they have much reason to lie to him.* I know, Quick. You guys were the ones who went through the trouble of making sure I was deactivated before Lord Wily got to me...*He looks around again* Just got a lot to get used to, I guess.

*Quick laughs.* It's kind of like having family you never knew about, Flash. It's not that bad after a while.

*Air has finally found all of Wind's additions and marked them for removal. He starts going through to start repairing all the problems and damage, making sure to leave weapons and teleporter disconnected. He doesn't quite trust Metal to not do something stupid.*

*Quint nods - hindered briefly when Ballade decides to playfully steal his helmet. He ignores his younger brother for a moment and smiles at Flash reassuringly* It's strange at first, but it gets easier. And you're not alone.

Um.. 'scuse me. *He then chases Ballade to try to get his helmet back*

*He's trying not to laugh as he looks back to the others* Sorry. He's like this sometimes.

*then he darts out into the rain to fetch Ballade*

*Flash smiles a bit, amused at Ballade's behavior, but waits until Quint has gone out after Ballade to comment.* Just like how we always were when we were newly activated. That short period of time before reality set in... *He seems a little more at ease now.*

*Quick snickers a bit.* They're nice people. Helped us out a good bit already, actually. Just consider them a part of the family, Flash. It's an accurate description at least.

*Crash just laughs.* We've met some of the others from their universe too, actually. Interesting bunch, anyways.

*Air finally thinks he has everything figured out and starts double checking. It wasn't as bad as it looked at first, really. Once he finishes going through the list to make sure everything is just right, he confirms it so that the CR can begin its work.*

((Heh. I should have probably broken these guys up into separate accounts to make things easier, but I didn't think about it when I started. Seems a little late to do it now...))
