*Blues grins at Tango's behaviour* Yep. She just might follow Crash home some day. *He shakes his head slightly*

*Quick looks very amused.* Yea. *He walks over to Air, having a good idea of what Air's thinking about now.* Are you really feeling up to doing the work on Flash now, Air?

*Air looks a little surprised at the question.* Of course. I want to get this done and over with. We even brought the stuff out of the locked room here, so we don't have to go back for certain things.

*Crash looks angry on hearing the bit about Wind.* Psychotic bastard. Air's not hurt or anything, is he? *Crash watches Air carefully. He is feeling a bit steadier constantly now, but he's not quite sure walking over there is such a good idea yet.*

Air's ok, I think. It's just.. it's not been a nice evening. I missed some of what happened, but Ballade came and got me when it looked like there was a problem.

I'm not sure what else happened with Wind. He.. was mad later and started sending messages. Punk and Ballade had to stay in the Nexus. Technically, they have orders not to leave it for now, and Ballade can but if he does and Punk sees he'd be caught. The field in the Nexus dropped. I think they must have done something, but I don't know what.

*He's a little worried about his younger siblings, and wonders if it's safe to call Ballade now that Elec has left and there isn't anyone who'd tell on Ballade*

*Blues just leans against a wall and starts to whistle*

*Quick shakes his head, obviously not believing it.* Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you with Flash, Air.

*Air walks over to where he remembers leaving the stack with the box with Flash's identification on it.* I know, Quick. I'm not helpless either. I can do this. *Well, he thinks he can at least. Not that he'll say that out loud, of course.*

*Crash winces a bit.* Wind was angry? Then I'm willing to bet he got the worst of it. Do you know what the messages Wind sent were about? *He's a bit worried. If the messages were that bad, shouldn't Air have been able to block then?*

I.. the rest of us weren't listening in till the end. Just Blues, because he was trying to find a way to block it. He was threatening us, and saying maybe the Wily in your world would like to.. to get ahold of some of the ones that don't exist where your from, or maybe Elec so he could compare differences.. And then he.. he sent this recording. Someone was screaming.. *Quint shivers, not wanting to say anything more about the messages*

I think.. maybe it's safe to call Ballade now, and if he can get away from Punk, he could tell us what happened to Wind.. He must have got away from them, though, to send those messages.

*Blues stops whistling for a moment* Quantum physics. That's what this remind me of. Schrodinger's Cat.

Sometimes wondering about the status of the cat is more stressful than simply looking, and finding out.

*Speaking of cats, since Crash is looking a little steadier, Tango attempts to rub against one of his legs again*

*Quick chuckles, grinning.* All right then Air. Quit hesitating and get to work. I was just trying to help. And Blues does have a good point.

*Air opens the box after messing with the latch on it a little bit. He looks in sadly at the parts, slightly cracked in places, but mostly in good shape otherwise. He shivers a little bit.*

*Crash shakes his head, sighing. He's not exactly paying attention to Tango rubbing against his legs, if just because he's worried.* Typical Wind bullshit. He knows he won't be able to pull it off, but Air won't believe that. *He doesn't mention the fact that Wind was right about the Wily of their universe possibly wanting specimens from another universe. He shivers a little at the mention of screams, having a good idea what type of thing Wind would transmit that would be that disturbing.* If Ballade can come here without getting into trouble, I'd say do it. *He's actually trying to hide the fact that he's a little worried about Quint's brothers.*

*Quint nods and tries to send a message to Ballade. He's a little worried about his brothers, but not too much - if Wind had captured them, Quint has a feeling he'd have bragged about it in those messages. And it seemed unlikely to him that Wind could do them too much harm.*

*Of course, in the Nexus, unlikely things happened often.*

*Given his 'habit' of wandering off after noticing anything shiny or distracting, it didn't take Ballade long to slip away from Punk. They'd already been in different parts of the Nexus when Quint called. He peeks into the cave, making sure there's no one that will tell on him.*

*He frowns a bit when he notices Blues, before walking over to Quint and Crash with a grin. He wasn't going to let Blues spoil his mood.*

Hi! *he snickers still thinking about Wind partly painted blue*

*Quick smirks at seeing Ballade.* Hey there. *He goes back to watching what Air is doing at a distance.

*Air decides it's time to try to see how bad the damage to Flash's body is and bring the box with. He's not sure what Wind did, but he wants to take a look at a few things. Whichever had taken him down had done a number on him. He starts working to get enough of the armor out of the way so that he can access the sections of Flash's internals that he needs to.*

*Crash looks glad to see that Ballade doesn't seem to have been hurt handling Wind.*Hey Ballade. Heard you got the joy of dealing with Wind. *He rolls his eyes a little, showing what he thinks of Wind.*

*Ballade laughs* Yeah! That was fun! Too bad he got away.

He should have just let me paint him blue, so he'd match Mega-brat. I guess he didn't like Punk laughing, but Punk's too heavy to blow away like that when he's in his armor.

And then I got to try to blow him up! *Ballade's grinning, and seems to still be very bouncy and wound-up from the incident* And he couldn't see us cause I spraypainted him in the face first.

Stupid Wind...

Punk almost got him too, but he warped away just before he'd have hit him in his second mode. And he did hit him with a Screw Crusher. And I hit him with a lot of bombs. *He snickers some more*

*Terrorsaur had slipped out for a while. Crowded rooms were no fun, unless everyone was paying attention to him. And even with his ego, he wasn't so stupid he doesn't know when that would be inappropriate. Non-flying xenomecha really weren't his kind of crowd, anyway. Plus he was still feeling a bit claustrophobic from earlier, and being inside wasn't helping.*

*He looks in the cave entrance to check on things and sees Air over by Flash, and that Crash is up.*

Need him moved to CR now?

*Quint can't help smiling at his somewhat-silly younger brother* Is Punk ok? You didn't hit him with any of your bombs, did you?

Um, only a few of them, cause he was too close to Wind, but he's ok cause he was in second mode and nothing hurts that.

He's not hurt, just upset because Wind got away before he could flatten him.

*Quick sighs.* Too bad he got away. He was having fun being a jackass via transmissions to Air afterwords.

*Air seems thoughtful for a moment at hearing Terrorsaur's question. A lot of Flash's internals had been wired by Wind from the way it looks, and the memory was replaced with a blank.* Well, that depends. I don't know the exact capabilities of the CR, and Flash had two parts removed for safety that he needs reinstalled to function. Memory storage and personality matrix. I was going to just put the parts in myself before he got put in CR to take care of what he did.

*Crash is snickering.* You were going to paint him? That would have been priceless to see. Bet he's pissed off at you and Punk though...

*Ballade snerks* Really stupid to be making prank calls after being blown up. Must be a masochist.

*then he grins again* But, hey, if he got away, that means I'll get to try to blow him up again!

Of course I was gonna paint him. Told him if he wanted to act like a stupid Lightbot and get us scrapped, he oughtta look like one. So I was gonna paint him to match Mega. And he started to run away but then didn't. And it's not violent to paint someone, so the no-violence field didn't do anything at all!

And I started painting him and Punk started laugning and he attacked Punk which mean he consented so Punk attacked him and I spraypainted him in the face and jumped out of the way and Punk's Screw Crusher hit him in the side and then I threw some bombs at him while Punk was changing and...

*Ballade cuts off suddenly and blinks at Crash puzzledly, and then grins* Hey! He said you and Quick were scrapped. You're not!

Makes sense to me. I'm no medic. *Terrorsaur admits* The closest we had to that among the crew was Tarantulas, and the only way most of us would have let that twisted spawn of Unicron poke at our circuits is if we were already dead and he couldn't do anything else to us.

Well, and maybe Scorponok, but the thought of that klutz trying to repair someone manually isn't pleasant.

But that's what CR's for. Even an idiot like Quickstrike could just hop in with it on default settings and the worst that could happen is it would miss something it didn't recognise as damage. And even that drops if it has previous scans for comparison.

*He shrugs slightly* CR's nanotech based. It repairs or constructs components on a molecular level. Waspinator could explain it better, if he wasn't napping. *Terrorsaur smirks, glancing over at Waspy* And if you didn't mind the way he talks.

If what you're talking about's a modification job, yeah, without a scan to go by, you'd have to know enough to explain every detail to the CR. It wouldn't read a modification as 'damage', because technically it's not.

I'd be out of this stupid reformat and back to my previous design if we could find a backup file of the design schematics. This design has no asthetic value at all. And the colors. Ugh! Purple and green?

Here's a tip. Never get reformatted by a quantum surge.

*Terry? Vain? What gives you that idea?*

*Quint just smiles slightly at Ballade's babbling chatter, used to his younger brother's behaviour.*

*Then after hearing that Air's going to do some of the repairs to Flash without using the CR, he looks in his backpack for the repair kit he carries in there, and takes it over to Air in case Air might need any of the tools in it.*

*He places it on the towels and looks up at Air, almost questioning but not quite daring to ask if Flash will be ok*

I've never met him. The one in my world anyway. He was out of the Gallery when Enker fought Mega the first time, before I was made, but he was back in the Gallery by the time I was activated. I don't know if he's ever been out again.

*Quick stares at Ballade then starts laughing.* Nice. Hit the psychotic bastard where it hurts. He's always hated being made to look like the idiot he is.

*Crash smirks, still snickering a little.* Wind really isn't that bright, is he? We weren't scrapped, just damaged.

*Air sighs.* I'm no expert. My knowledge is what I was programmed with and stuff I've picked up. It'll be easier for me to just reinstall the things by hand, since I pulled them out in the first place. *He snickers softly.* The Flash of my universe isn't to bad. A bit quiet at times. He can be a little trigger happy with that darn weapon of his, as Quick has experienced in the past.

*Air reaches in to start removing the blank Wind replaced the memory chip with. A cracking noise can be heard every now and then as he works. Mainly from him breaking off some pieces that could get in the way while he removes it.*

*Ballade's still grinning* That's good, cause you're more fun if you're not scrapped. Wind, though... he'd be more fun if he is scrapped.

Maybe we could make tree decorations out of whatever's left.

*he tries to recall where he'd left off in telling what happened, and then just shrugs.* Punk folded up but Wind disappeared before Punk hit him, or he'd be all crushed now and maybe with holes in. And blue.

You know more than I do. We weren't really supposed to learn things like this. I don't know how I ended up learning to fix the metools, I just didn't like them to be hurt, and it was something to do when I'd hide in the Gallery sometimes. But all I really know is that, and what I've learned in the Nexus since, which isn't much.

*He keeps quiet after that, watching as Air tries to repair Flash*

*Blues just grins at Ballade's recount of events, but doesn't comment yet. Although he is taking note of Ballade being out of the Nexus, in violation of orders, and not having any problems doing so. It seems Ballade doesn't have Second Law...*

*Tango snuggles against Crash's leg again, still soliciting attention* Mew?
